LOADED NZ – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Effective Date: 1 June 2026

1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, participation, and activities conducted at Loaded NZ (“Loaded NZ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By making a booking or participating in any activity at Loaded NZ, guests agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Loaded NZ reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility to Participate

Participants must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age unless otherwise approved by Loaded NZ.

  • Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult.

  • Follow all instructions provided by Loaded NZ staff and range officers.

  • Be physically and mentally capable of safely participating in shooting activities.

Loaded NZ reserves the right to refuse participation to any person at its sole discretion.

3. Safety Requirements

Safety is our highest priority.

All participants must:

  • Attend and complete the mandatory safety briefing.

  • Wear all required safety equipment provided.

  • Follow all instructions from range officers immediately and without exception.

  • Handle firearms only when instructed by a range officer.

  • Remain within designated areas at all times.

Any participant who fails to comply with safety instructions may be removed from the activity immediately without refund.

4. Alcohol and Drugs

Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that may impair judgement.

Loaded NZ reserves the right to:

  • Refuse participation to any person suspected of being impaired.

  • Remove participants from the property if their behaviour presents a safety risk.

No refund will be provided in these circumstances.

5. Bookings and Payments

Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of payment or deposit as specified by Loaded NZ.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Full payment is required prior to participation.

  • Corporate bookings may be invoiced upon approval.

  • Prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and may be subject to GST where applicable.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Individual Bookings 

  • Cancellations more than 48 hours for groups under 10 people

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours for groups under 5 people

  • Cancellations made before required notice may receive a full refund or transfer.

  • Failure to attend a booked activity will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be provided.

Corporate and Group Bookings

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event may receive a refund of deposits paid.

  • Cancellations within 14 days may incur charges of up to 100% of the booking value.

Loaded NZ may consider exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion.

7. Weather Conditions

Loaded NZ operates in a range of weather conditions.

Activities may proceed during rain, wind, or other weather events provided safety is not compromised.

If Loaded NZ determines conditions are unsafe:

  • Activities may be postponed or rescheduled.

  • Refunds or credits will be considered at the discretion of Loaded NZ.

8. Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that clay target shooting and associated outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Firearm-related risks

  • Slips, trips, and falls

  • Uneven terrain

  • Adverse weather conditions

  • Physical injury

Participants voluntarily accept all risks associated with participation.

9. Liability Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law:

  • Participants release Loaded NZ, its directors, employees, contractors, and landowners from liability for loss, damage, injury, or death arising from participation in activities at Loaded NZ.

  • Loaded NZ accepts no responsibility for personal property lost, stolen, or damaged while on the premises.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.

10. Damage to Property

Participants are responsible for any damage caused by negligent, reckless, or intentional actions.

Loaded NZ reserves the right to recover costs associated with repair or replacement of damaged property or equipment.

11. Photography and Marketing

Loaded NZ may photograph or record activities for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

By participating, guests consent to the use of photographs and video footage in which they may appear.

Guests who do not wish to be photographed must notify Loaded NZ prior to the commencement of activities.

12. Personal Information

Loaded NZ collects and stores personal information for booking, operational, and safety purposes.

Information will be handled in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.

13. Force Majeure

Loaded NZ shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather events

  • Government restrictions

  • Fire

  • Pandemic-related disruptions

  • Utility failures

14. Conduct on Premises

Loaded NZ reserves the right to remove any person whose behaviour:

  • Creates a safety risk

  • Is abusive or threatening

  • Damages property

  • Disrupts other guests

No refund will be provided where removal is necessary.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes arising from participation or bookings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
